FINALLY GOT MY SHELF IN THE LIVING ROOM RIGHT INFRONT OF MY EYES

(yes i sleep in the living room. since sec 3)

now i have the mood the pick and read the books. and do my ''research''. hehe... Alhamdulillah.

i dont know where to start, some part of me wants to read the bible (dont have, maybe i go borrow or buy a small one) and do what many islamic scholars do. but maybe im still not knowledgeable enough and that i have learn more bout my own religion first.

interested in the day of judgment, but prayers is important. knowing Allah is important. memorising the Quran and Doa2 are too.

I hope i have enough time for all of this. school's tough. very short of time.

and i dont have time for my heart. =/

maybe i do, maybe i choose not to care bout it.

maybe im just being paranoid and maybe it's nothing.

maybe i dont have enough money, or maybe thats just an excuse as im saving up for many things.. ps3, for instance.

maybe i dont care bout my health, or im just being very very optimistic.

STEPS TO DRAW CLOSER TO ALLAH

Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people. (Surah Yusuf 12:87)

One must be hopeful of Allahs mercy and forgiveness and fearful of His punishment. It is this fear that should lead one to seek Allahs forgiveness with hope. Allah says:

Know that Allah is severe in punishment and that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (Surat al-Maaidah 5:98)

In the above verse, Allah gives us reason to fear because His punishment is justly severe, as well as good reason to have hope, since He is the Most Forgiving and Merciful. There should be a balance between fear and hope and not too much or too less of one or the other.

We should always remain between fear and hope. For, the right and the approved kind of fear is that which acts as a barrier between the slave and the things forbidden by Allah. But, if fear is excessive, then the possibility is that the man will fall into despair and pessimism.

On the other hand the approved state of optimism is of a man who does good in the light of the Shari’ah and is hopeful of being rewarded for it. Or, conversely, if a man committed a sin, he repents sincerely, and is hopeful of being forgiven. Allah (swt) said:

“Verily, those who believed, and those who migrated and fought in the way of Allah, it is they who are hopeful of Allah’s mercy. And Allah is very Forgiving, very Merciful.” (Al-Baqarah, 218)

In contrast, if a man indulges in sins and excesses, but is hopeful that he would be forgiven without doing anything good, then, this is self-deception, mere illusion and false hope. Abu ‘All Rowzbari has said, “Fear and hope are like the two wings of a bird. If they are well balanced, the flight will be well balanced. But, If one is stunted, the Right would also be stunted. And, to be sure, if the two are lost, the bird will soon be in the throes of death.” Allah has praised the people of hope and fear in the following verse:

‘Is one who worships devotedly during the night, prostrating himself or standing, fearing the Hereafter, and hoping for the mercy of his Lord (is equal to him who doesn’t do these things)?’ (Al Zumar, 9)

Hope then also demands fear. If that was not the case, one would be in a state of false security. Conversely, fear demands hope. Without that it would be despair.

Fear and hope, both should be equally proportioned in our hearts, in our worship, and in our dua to Allah. Allah says:

Call out to Him with fear and hope. (Surat al-Araaf 7:56)

They forsake their beds to call their Lord in fear and hope. (Surat as-Sajdah 32:16)

Voluntary fasting for the pleasure of Allah

Fasting in general and voluntary fasting in particular is a great worship. Fasting is not restricted to Ramadhan, but it is an act of worship that can be [and should be in some cases] performed at any time and at any place except when not recommended. Indeed, it is a worship that draws the believer closer to Allah and closer to perfection.
Intention for voluntary fasting

As opposed to Ramadan, the intention does not have to be made before dawn. The person can intend fasting [and start fasting] after dawn any time [even after noon] given that he did not eat anything.]

Fasting Mondays and Thursdays & Fasting three days of every month(White days):

“Fasting and the Qur’an will intercede for the slave on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say: ‘O My Rabb! I prevented him from food and desires, so accept my intercession for him.’ And the Qur’an will say: ‘I prevented him from sleep during the night, so accept my intercession for him. So let us get closer to Allah by fasting Mondays and Thursdays or at least 3 days every month on the 14th,15th and 16th. If we leave something for the pleasure of Allah then we will get MUCH greater in return!

didnt sleep the whole night. cousins and uncle were at my house watching chelsea vs Liverpool.
great match.great night. some then slept as they have work or school. but some chitchatted in the living room in the dark til dawn. talked bout blackops. friends (saddening). life. history and discovery channel. haha.

then til 7.and i slept for an hour.
mum called and asked me to bathe.
we went shoppping!
at mustafa (my jeans and dad's dartboard),sim lim (for my recovery disc),imm(kitchen stuffs),arab street (for my jubah and songkok).
since i didnt have enough rest. i was super restless. and i had to walk around following parents around. kinda no mood. and i felt bad. i tsk at some orders from parents.
and at golden landmark then i began to think and remind myself 'that's my mum'.
and wow, i felt better. i never meant to perform such behaviours towards em. its sinful. and even by tsk-ing. God disallows it. and im sorry.

sometimes it happen too fast that u dont have time to think. but u do have time to re-think and ask for forgiveness.

honestly, i too was down. and wanted to cry as well after knowing bout this. work just now wasnt too good either as i kept thinking bout it. i was thinking of how i want to help you. yes,i want to help. i really do. for you. your mum. your family. after all, she is one of my best teachers. :) but of course im not going to her and advise/encourage..bla bla.. ure the main source,so i'll go to you. and you, revive the spirit of your family. you may be young. but in there,i know..lies a very strong person character to be unleashed.

and keep this in mind, just being patient alone wont help. ive told u what to do right? how to be calm..how to think positive etc.. always keep in mind that whatever negative things that ure thinking of right now, is the work of the devil. BUT the devil is only working well because of the permission from Allah swt. if you passed His (Allah's) trial, u get ur reward. simple as that. but HOW u do it, is a different thing. thats harder. for now. practice. everything is about practice.

O you who believe! seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient. (2:153)

i know im not that of a good person as well. im dirty. im stupid. im a disaster. im a cheat. im a hypocrite. & simply say, im the devil u dont wanna meet.know.talk to.

whatever i do now, even if the deeds are as high as the mountains, i dont think i deserve Allah's forgiveness still.....hmmm...but we know How merciful Allah swt is..& im glad that He is..but im still not sure if he has forgiven me for what ive done in the past or not. i mean, if humans were to know..i can bet you,not many will forgive me. not many will acknowledge me as they would before. & all that i have left is Allah..and the teachings of Muhammad s.a.w.

A transgender is asking for acceptance on Yahoo, saying he/she is also human. Wow. If you can accept that body of yours as human then accept the freaking gender it was made into. Don't go around asking people to accept something you know they won't like. We know you are human and it's not as if we're going to kill you. You didn't exactly come down in a spaceship saying, ''We are sexually confused but we come in peace!''. We are just not going to accept because there is a flaw in your demands. You think we hate transsexualism out of ignorance. The real reason why we do is because there is a fine line between 'ACCEPTING' and 'EMBRACING'.

If I ACCEPT him/her and transsexualism, my child might grow up in a world where he/she thinks that it's ok to be like him/her. If my child decides to follow suit and EMBRACES the lifestyle then I'll only have myself to blame. So I'm sorry but ACCEPTANCE is too much to ask for. Take business for example. If the price of rice rises too much for people to tolerate, we could always boycott. Trust me the prices will fall again with patience. High supply with low demand means low costs. Not accepting transsexualism and homosexuality will act as a form of deterrence to more people than you think you could ever influence. If it only takes one man to start a war between nations, it is also possible that one person's change of opinion will go a long way in securing a brighter future for ourselves and future generations. Thank God Singapore isn't America.
